THE MOMENT
“Wherever there is light, one can photograph.” — Alfred Stieglitz
This about a few moments that make a house feel like home. The details, the light, the little things that bring comfort and character.
We bought this home just over a year ago, and from the moment we walked in, we knew. The layout felt right, the neighborhood was quiet but close to the city. It needed some cosmetic updates, but that was part of the appeal—something we could make our own. More than just a place to call home, I saw it as an extension of our style. A mix of classic design, natural elements, and lived-in warmth.
One of the things I love most is how the house interacts with light. It's surrounded by greenery, which keeps it cool in the Texas summers. The sun rises in the backyard and sets in the front, filtering through the trees and casting soft, shifting shadows throughout the day. The bay window in the front and the enclosed sunroom in the back create the perfect balance—bright in the morning, cozy in the evening.
Inside, we’ve taken our time curating the space. Antique finds, family heirlooms, and modern pieces come together to create a home that feels both timeless and personal. We wanted something warm, inviting, and full of character—where every piece has a story.
As I spend more time here, I’ve been capturing the moments that stand out. The way light hits an old wooden table, the cozy corners that feel just right, the small details that make a space feel lived in.
These are the moments that remind me why home isn’t just about design—it’s about feeling.
Thank you for stepping into this moment with me.
